This document is in response to your request for information regarding Veklury® (remdesivir [RDV]) and coring during preparation.

Available Data on Coring During RDV Preparation1
Follow your local hospital or pharmacy procedures if coring occurs during preparation.
A filter can be used to remove the cored rubber stopper piece. There are no data on the type of filter that should be used to remove the cored rubber stopper piece.
After reconstitution of RDV, inspect the vial to ensure the container closure is free from defects and the solution is free of particulate matter.
